The well-known Chiayi pineapple brand “Sugar Pine” held a launch and container sealing press conference on the morning of February 27^th, hosted by Chiayi County Mayor Weng Chang-liang, marking the beginning of this year’s export of Chiayi pineapples to Japan.

With the assistance of Mitagri, the Chiayi County Government guided Damao Production to successfully launch “Summer Snow” Milk Pineapple last year, breaking into Yamaguchi Prefecture’s largest supermarket chain, where it was warmly received by consumers. This year, the “Sugar Pine” Golden Diamond pineapple from Chiayi is expanding its sales channels beyond Kanto, Kansai, and Yamaguchi regions, reaching deeper into Kyushu supermarket chains, including those in Fukuoka and Oita Prefectures.

Thanks to the professional care of Chiayi’s expert farmers, Japanese consumers can enjoy the sweetest and most delicious pineapples from Chiayi, with a sweetness that touches the heart.
